Welcome to My Blog !
Hi everyone, and welcome to my blog!
This is where I share my cooking recipes, food stories, and kitchen memories. On TikTok and Instagram, everything is quick and fast — people scroll in just three seconds. But here, I want to keep something more personal. Because food is not only about ingredients or taste, it’s about the story behind it. Every dish carries a reason — maybe it connects to a cook’s memory, maybe it tells a story to the person eating it. That’s why I believe a blog is the right place to keep those moments alive, besides the recipes themselves.
A Little About Me
I’m Trang Nguyen, or Tiffany. About my background, I graduated bachelor in Marketing at RMIT (Singapore campus) . In 2017, I flew to Melbourne following my culinary passion, ready to join Le Cordon Bleu Australia. At that time, I had no friends or any family members in Australia — only the love and support of my parents and my willingness to start a new journey. Back then I wasn’t even sure if culinary would be my career. Part of me doubted: “Do I belong in the kitchen, or should I build a corporate path?”
But that uncertainty gave me so much freedom. I enjoyed every moment in culinary school — the early mornings, the heavy knife case, the 1 hour train, the challenges of adapting to Western ingredients as an Asian girl. Later, I also experienced catering, commercial kitchens, hospitality studies in both Melbourne, Sydney, and even worked in cafés ( bas cafe allrounder, barista) and restaurants ( FOH, host). At the same time, when COVID hit, I discovered food content creation and slowly built Changhomecook on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
My Journey Today
In 2021, I stepped into the corporate world, working for a Food Tech company in Sydney ( Menulog, under Justeattakeaway). Even though I shifted into corporate, the work–life balance I found still gave me room to follow my passion — cooking, creating, and sharing. I was still cooking for friends when they came over, experimenting with recipes, and occasionally posting them on my own Instagram.
By 2024, I moved back to Vietnam, where I continue to balance both sides of me: the passion for cooking and storytelling, and the drive for a professional career. At first, I struggled to land a corporate job here. After spending 10 years abroad, returning home and adapting to the local working culture wasn’t as easy as I thought. But with time — and with the support of my family and friends — I found my own rhythm.
Now I’m based in Ho Chi Minh City. Even though my current job isn’t related to food, I still keep my routine of making cooking videos, developing recipes, and writing this blog. To me, it proves one thing: if you truly want to, you can always make space for what you love — and you’ll never get tired of it.
What I Believe
Looking back, I realize that whether you choose the corporate ladder, the culinary path, or even both — it doesn’t have to align with what you studied, or what others expect. What truly matters is whether it feels authentic to you.
For me, I’m happy living in both worlds. Cooking, writing, and creating content keep me inspired — and thanks to cooking, I’ve had more chances to connect with other food lovers and kitchen enthusiasts like myself. On the other hand, a corporate career challenges me to keep growing and learning.
That balance — that feeling of being “myself” — is what I want to share with everyone here.
So thank you for stopping by my blog. I hope it brings you not only recipes and food ideas, but also a sense of connection, warmth, and maybe even the courage to follow your own mix of passions.
