Girls' Brunch at Home – A Cozy Weekend Treat
Brunch is my favorite weekend treat—slow mornings, good food, and even better company. I love going out for brunch, but there’s something fun about making it at home. Sure, it takes some effort (and way more prep than it looks!), but that’s part of the charm!
This weekend, I decided to invite friend over, putting together a menu that blends the comforting flavors of Vietnamese breakfast with a touch of Japanese cuisine. A little bit of effort, a lot of love, and a table full of delicious bites!
The Menu
🍳 Big Vietnamese Breakfast – A plate featuring steak, fresh tomatoes, Bo Kho (Vietnamese braised beef), pate
🍔 Prawn Katsu & Egg Mayo Burger – A crispy golden prawn katsu between soft burger buns, layered with creamy chilli egg mayo.
🍟 Crispy Chips on the Side: with grated parmesan cheese, and a dash of truffle oil.
☕ Drinks: Fresh & Simple – Just a good cup of coffee and fresh orange juice
I kept things super simple—warm lighting, table setup, and a mix of my favorite plates and bowls to serve up all the good stuff and flowers. But honestly, the best part for all the brunch is the stories, the sharing, and just soaking up the slow, easy vibes of a home-cooked brunch.Sometimes, the best brunch spot is right at home.
